uvari!” Izzy was running in my direction and frantically waving her

“Thands, screaming at the top of her lungs. “Hurry!”

My stomach leaped into my throat as the blood in my veins seemed to pound. There was only one reason she would seek me out like that.

Something was wrong. Where was Synika?

“What is it?” I yelled, running toward the bathing chambers as she gestured ahead.

“Synika!” she answered as a cold hand gripped my hearts in fear. “They have her. We can’t get inside.”

A blood-red haze filled my vision. With a loud roar, I ran faster and knocked into several Grecian pillars, shoving them aside as they shattered and broke beneath my rage. “Where?”

“Here!” Izzy stopped next to over a dozen girls who were banging on the bathing chamber door and screaming.

My hearts nearly stopped beating when I heard Synika screaming in terror. What I did next defied logic. With a strength I didn’t know I could possess, I ripped the hinges from the door and tossed the remainder aside, running for my beloved. Five guards were in the room. Two held her arms, one held her legs, and two more were turning my way as I entered.

“Let go of her now!” I yelled, my fist slamming into the face of the first guard so hard he slumped down on the floor, out cold. When the second guard ran forward, the lecherous asshole Garvin, I didn’t hesitate. My fist connected with his jaw and then his gut, knocking him down as the girls pounced. They began hitting and smacking him all at once, beating him down into the hard Grecian tiles as blood trickled across the floor and into the drains.

There would be no mercy.

He was one of the rapists and the girls would finally have a small amount of vengeance.

His death was no loss.

Synika was fighting the remaining three guards, one of the men trying to shove his cock inside her. She screamed in fury and raked her nails down the side of his face. He retaliated and smacked her hard across the mouth as it split her lip. I could see the blood flying from her mouth.

I reached the next guard as she fell limp, the other two remaining guards noticing my presence at the same time. With surprise, they held up their hands in surrender.

“Synika do mar aro mosh keharna,” I growled, my entire frame trembling with rage. “She is mine!” I roared as they ran from the room, slipping on the blood of Garvin’s body as it continued to seep into the drains.

“Vash pronarvo,” I spat, daggers of hatred launching from my eyes.

They apologized and bowed down low, backing away until they were free to run.

My eyes darted to the man who dared to rape my wife. A sinister grin spread across his face as he crouched, refusing to let me pass. One of Garvin’s closest friends and another rapist, Bugaro was as detestable as his leader. No surprise there. What was surprising was how fast they sought Synika out.
